In these particular photos, there seems to be an undercurrent of pain and loneliness that I don&#8217;t care for as much, but broadly, I am very interested in his work.]]></description>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In the introduction to this series of <a href="http://www.bunrab.com/photohutch/ichioka_photos/ichioka_phgal.html">pictures of people sleeping</a>, the writer (photographer?) mentions that people are unposed and unguarded when they are photographed while sleeping. That may be, but for some reason, these images still seem highly posed to me. I still like the series and find it interesting, but it just doesn&#8217;t feel as unguarded as you&#8217;d expect. I&#8217;d like to set up a time lapsed camera to photograph myself, but the amount of light you need would probably make it pretty hard to actually sleep.</p>

I&#8217;m not as familiar with photographers as I&#8217;d like to be, but after seeing his image Chaos Cup I definitely want to go check this show out. I&#8217;m not as familiar with photographers as I&#8217;d like to be, but after seeing his image <a href="http://www.hammer.ucla.edu/exhibitions/104/work_583.htm">Chaos Cup</a> I definitely want to go check this show out.</p>
<p>And, if anybody knows of other photographers that are doing work similar to that, please let me know. I&#8217;d like to be more educated about who&#8217;s out there doing stuff like that.</p>
