My computer suddenly lost its wireless network card. I jostled, rebooted, even fixed permissions. Nothing. So, I cracked it to reseat the card. In the process I dropped one of those teeny, tiny little screws. I peered, brushed, even got a magnet. I found a rock, some bits of wood, some lint, something I couldn’t begin to identify and enough dust to choke a bunny, but the screw remains determinedly missing.
The computer works. I have a network again, but I remain thoroughly unsatisfied.
