I always run out of clean socks before I run out of clean underwear. However, today, for reasons that must involve some kind of ancient black magic, I’m out of underwear, but still have plenty of clean socks. How does something like that happen? It’s not like I haven’t been wearing socks or wearing dirty socks? If X > Y AND, you deincrement X and Y equally, then you’re always going to have leftover X once Y == 0.
It’s like the laws of mathematics and cause and effect are breaking down around me. Either that, or I have a particularly pervy secret admirer.
