You know, I don’t even shoot in RAW because the workflow is too big a hassle for the crappy little photos I take. Still, after hearing that Nikon is encrypting white balance data in a seriously clueless attempt to force their customers to use their conversion software, I can’t imagine buying a Nikon camera ever again. I would recommend everybody else stay away from them as well. That kind of anti-customer BS needs to be punished.

I went to the South Coast Botanical Garden today. It had been nearly a year since I was last there. At that point, somebody had given me the impression that the place was closing down. Clearly that wasn’t true since here it is nearly a year later and it’s still quite open. Anyway, enjoy my gratuitous use of the macro lens for flower photography.
