In keeping with my goal of taking advantage of the daylight on the weekends (which seems to be the only time I actually see daylight these days), I took my camera up to Malibu to shoot some photos on Zuma Beach.

At one point, I was trying to get around some rocks, and I misjudged the incoming waves. I thought I had it timed, but before I knew it, swoosh — seawater up to my shins. That certainly made the walk back to my car super pleasant (particularly over the steep and slippery rocks). I’m trying to wash my shoes as I type.

Anyway, it’s kind of a cool beach with lots of rocks to climb over and look at. And, PCH is WAY more scenic North of Santa Monica than it is to the South.
