A Grapefruit a Day…
March 1st, 2004 by Will
A recent study indicates that eating half a grapefruit with each meal helps to facilitate weight loss and reduces insulin levels. It’s too bad I find the stuff so vile. I wonder if other large fruits would have a similar effect. Does the grapefruit really do something or is it just that people tend to eat less of food that’s bad for them if they fill up on food that’s good for them?

I like grapefruits, how I eat them is first I divided in half. Then I take a knife and cut around the friut inside to separate it from the skin. O dont take it out of the skin, IT makes a great bowl. Then I cut along the quaters that are in the fruit so I can eat each piece indiviualy with a spoon or fork. Finnaly I sprinkle a lot of sugaron top of all the pieces. With lots of sugar the grapefruit tastes great but it might not do to well for a wieght loss diet, although the grapefruit is still mighty healthy even with the sugar.
