The Da Vinci Code

Wow! I think I HAVE to read The Da Vinci Code (Wired Book Review).

It sounds like a cross between the show Alias and Cryptonomicon:

Dan Brown’s latest novel, The Da Vinci Code, published by Doubleday Books, is about the famous Renaissance artist and the oblique references to the occult contained in his equally famous paintings. It’s also about ancient secret societies, modern forensics, science and engineering, and the history of religion.

Sounds too good to be true. I’m sure I’ll be disappointed, but it’s worth a shot.

If you enjoyed The Da Vinci Code for its puzzles and codes or its storyline and Grail links, you should check out The Ultimate Quest by William Lynhope. It pre-dates The Da Vinci Code.
