So I’m driving back from lunch, and a promo for one of the local news shows come up. You know the type of Special Report promos where they try to up ratings by scarring you into watching. Sort of like, Is your toilette paper silently killing you? Tune in Monday to find out what you need to know about this common household object.

Yeah well, this time around they were promoting a story about gangs on the internet - which is already really funny. But here’s where they pull out the big guns. They tag the promo with this: “Gangs on the Internet, and anybody can join with just a single click.”

I swear to you I was laughing so hard, I almost drove into the car in front of me. They have truly scrapped the bottom of the scare them barrel. You just know that somewhere there is a news director or 50 praying for the next terrorist attack on US soil.

“YOU COME HERE TO MOCK MR T?!”

Yes!

And then it was photograph time..I guess Mr T didn’t want to have this battle in front of the kids so he grudgingly obliged. Somewhere there is a polaroid of a terribly unhappy Mr T scowling at the ground while we grin like cheshire cats with our arms around his big, manly shoulders…

My parents have the same polaroid of some dude in a bugs bunny costume. Nice.

STAY IN SCHOOL … FOOL!

Hello World?

Third time’s a charm - I hope…

Hello World ??!

I hope this works.

Hello World?

I surely hope that this work …

My Site’s Broken

A recent server upgrade seems to have hosed the database files that power this site. That means I can’t log in to Movable Type, my content management system, to post new entries. It also means you probably can’t comment. I’m working on a fix, but there have been a few roadblocks. In the meantime, posts may be few and far between.

Update: Thank you FastServe Tech Support team. You guys is da bomb.

Anti-Valentines

A few days ago, I needed to create a jokey type valentine’s card that wouldn’t send the wrong message. If only I’d known about these. Actually, I think mine was funnier, but it was funny in a specific way where as these were funny in a generic slightly jaded cynical way - which is perfect for me.

Graphical Text Adventures

Well, it runs slow and it’s a bit maddening, but I may play this past the third room one day.

More Like This

Ooh, now that’s lovely. More like Venus Hum please. But, you know not on MCA or one of the other major labels so I could actually buy and enjoy it. OK?

I’ll Cut You.

My Money’s on Blip. But, didn’t he used to have power bands like Space Ghost?
