Hey - I got my first cease and desist letter today. I feel just like a real publisher now.
Be careful who you offend companies. Your customers are connected and empowered these days. Although I have to say Chilling Effects doesn’t have the breadth of content to deal with these things that I thought they did. Maybe it will get better.

Don’t worry about. No , really, do not worry about it. I used to get one a week and none of them ever went anywhere. The only reason they send cease and desists is because it freaks people out. Reply like a nutter, and they’ll leave you alone soon enough.
easier for me to say, i’m not in the states, and neither is my data. I reply to all cease and desist that they should come to my countries courts. they never want to, of course.
