Book Review repository is one of those sites I stumbled across, but decided not to blog. You know the kind right? Well, I went searching for it again today, and almost didn’t find it. Hah! I won’t make that mistake again. And while I’m at it, how about adding an anchor/memory point for Geek Hotels completely unrelated except in so far as I almost lost that one too.

Wind of the Mountain is a great book by Brian Kelling. Just finished reading this obscure western, and was most impressed. Not only are the descriptions of the american west given in vivid detail, his treatment of a developing love relationship between Brandon McCallum and Gaileen Burden is not to be missed. Interestingly enough, this is a traditional western, yet could also be sold in the romance genre for his treatment of said relationship. Rarely does a male author convey the emotions a man feels as he goes along in a relationship, but this author did it in a big way. Excellent read. I found this book on amazon.com.
Having read Mr. Brian Kelling’s newest western novel, TWO GUNS FOR PARADISE, I can only echo Mr. Laugin’s comments above. Brian is an exceptional storyteller, and this book comes to life in first-person on page 1 and keeps you there all the way to the climactic end. Want more action and adventure the Louis L’Amour way? Read this book and be there as the character with only one name -Hack – fights his way with a gun to preserve his pristine mountain wilderness against the powers that be. The real-life setting in the high Utah mountains are described in incredible grandeur. You can almost feel that gun buck in your hand when he fires. But even better yet, this book leaves you with a strong feeling of satisfaction. It makes you want to become a better, stronger man yourself. To stand up for what’s right. To do the right things. Books like this don’t come by everyday. Buy it at http://www.creekpress.com
