I know the difference between the words "write" and "right" without even needing to think about it or look it up. So, why is it that when typing out an e-mail to a friend of mine today, I typed "right", when I meant to type "write"?
It's happened before too, and it doesn't make any sense to me. That doesn't make any sense. My fingers must be working independent of the part of my brain that reads words. My fingers (or the part of my brain that composes text) must be connected to (or the same as) the part of my brain that hears words. That's the only possible explanation I can imagine. Weird. The brain is weird.
