Flowers and children always seem like such cheats when taking photographs. It's just too easy to take good pictures of either of those subjects, and it has almost nothing to do with any skill the photographer may have.

So, being the lame pseudo-artist that I am, I was only too happy to take my camera up to Descanso Gardens where I expected to find endless possibilities for great photos. My first paragraph not withstanding, I did in my infinite lameness manage to blow most of the compositions that featured flowers. However, I got some good ones of kids, and a pretty cool one of a bunch of lizards. See.
